ROMANS 1:16–17 For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.”
After hearing God’s Word concerning what is right for life, have you ever questioned or been frustrated because total health and freedom from financial worry have not taken hold of your life? (3 John 2) A mountain of worry or concern just seems immovable. You know your children are not walking in God’s best for their lives. Seeking God’s purpose for your life has eluded you. Confusion has become the order of the day rather than God’s order for your day.
It’s just not right. It’s just not God’s will for my life or your life. His will is righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit.
There was a time in my life when I thought that I had to do my best to make what was wrong right. I had to try harder to make things right. I had to improve myself, maybe more education, doing more for the family, or serving the Lord more. Then things would be made right.
One day the Lord showed me that in the gospel His righteousness is revealed. The victory our Lord Jesus won on the cross made all things right in the lives of those who believe.
Every relationship in my life has been made right by Jesus. His death and resurrection released the power of Almighty God into every area of my life and your life to make it right, to bring it into alignment with the will of God.
Now receive God’s righteousness (His power and ability to make our lives right with Him) into our lives. Let’s stop trying to do it ourselves and release our faith in the gospel, which declares that the Lord Jesus has made any area of our lives that is wrong or out of order right.
Would you join with me today in thanking God that He has restored our health, healed every relationship, and made everything right in our past, present, and future?
Brother John
