God deals with us according to who He is..

Ps 103:10 He has not dealt with us according to our sins,
Nor punished us according to our iniquities.

graceIt is such good news that our Father God out of His abundant mercy and grace does not deal with us according to our sin, but rather deals with us according to who He is. He is love, mercy and grace. The Lord never forgets who He is, not even for a moment. Through Jesus, He has dealt with sin forever. He has forgiven all sin and set us apart from sin. He has removed all sin from us. Sin no longer has dominion over us. (Romans 6:14)

Sin shall not have dominion over us, for we are under grace and not under the law. We have been freed from every sin. Let’s focus on the fact that God does not deal with us according to sin. Because of this there is continuous mercy and forgiveness toward us.

Often, believers become entangled in unforgiveness and bitterness. This is poison to the believer. Unforgiveness and bitterness hinders our faith. It is like drinking poison to try to get back at someone for what they did to you.  It’s foolish to believe that your Unforgiveness will hurt someone else but not yourself.

However God has given us grace and made us righteous. Now we can deal with people according to who we are and not according to what they said or what they did to us. We, the body of Christ, are love, mercy and forgiveness at all times. We can walk in forgiveness. We can cancel the debt, we do not have to allow unforgiveness to destroy relationships God has brought us into our lives to bless us.

Father, in the Name of Jesus, thank you, You have made me a new creation in Christ Jesus. Because I am new creation, from this day forth, I deal with every relationship in my life according to who I am and not according to anyone’s mistakes, wrong doings or sin. Amen.

Are you living in the eternal realm?

2 Cor 4:18 While we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.

As long as we are in the body, we are in the temporal realm, the realm of the senses. However we are not to see this temporal realm as permanent, it is subject to change.

The will of God is not always done in this temporary realm, but it can be done in this temporal realm, because it is subject to change. Eph 1:3 declares that we are already blessed with every spiritual blessing in heavenly places (the realm of the spirit.)

As we pray and believe that God’s will be done on earth (the temporal, subject to change realm) as it is in heaven (the eternal unchangeable spiritual realm.) You will see God’s will come to pass in your life.

The Word declares to pray daily for the Father’s will (His desires for us) to be done in our lives today. His desire is that we believe His Word so that it manifests in our lives daily. So we believe what He says and He causes it to come to pass in our life.

Father, thank you, Your will be done in my life, today, as it has been done in heaven. Amen.

Your brother in Christ,
John

God gives us richly all things to enjoy

1 Tim 6:17 Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy.

The Word clearly shows us that trusting in God as our total source causes us to be at liberty and freedom where money and stuff is concerned. Jesus shared that man too often believes that their life consists of their possessions.

It is no wonder that the self storage business has become a multi-billion dollar industry in our country. However one cannot help but notice that as people labor to keep their possessions they are not enjoying them nor is anyone else enjoying them either.

If we come to a revelation and believe that money, possessions, and stuff is to serve others as well as ourselves, we can truly believe and receive from God richly all things to enjoy. As we recognize that our homes, cars, jobs, careers, education, and all other things are from God, we can richly enjoy them.

Thank you, Father God, you are my total source and You give me all things to richly enjoy in Jesus Name, Amen.

Your brother in Christ,
John

Holding Fast the Word of Life

Philippians 2:16 holding fast the Word of Life..

We are exhorted to hold fast the Word of Life. The Word of God is spirit and life to us. We live by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. We live the abundant life in Christ Jesus according to our holding fast. We are to have and hold the Word. That is, we have continual possession with the idea of putting the Word of Life forth out of our mouths. As we speak the Word of Life, we are possessing it continually.

Hebrews 4:14 Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession.

As we continually possess the Word of Life by holding fast our confession to the Father God and He sees to it that our confession of the Word of Life comes to pass in our life by the power of the Holy Spirit.

So whatever situation, circumstance or tribulation you are facing today, begin to hold fast to your confession of the Word of God so that the Word begins to work in and against that negative circumstance and it must line up with the will and the Word of God.

Your brother in Christ,

John

You have peace with God!

Romans 5:1 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ..

Often, saints of God lose their peace with God. They believe that God is at war with them, or angry with them, or punishing them for their sins or mistakes.

The reason this occurs with so many is because they do not believe that Jesus paid the full price for our sins nor do they believe that He was raised from the dead for our justification. To be declared justified is to be judged not guilty (innocent); to be judged righteous; is to be accepted by Father God as if we never sinned.

The Judge of all the earth, God Almighty, declares because we believe in what He said, we are justified now and forever.

In Isaiah 54:9 God declares,
“For this is like the waters of Noah to Me;
For as I have sworn
That the waters of Noah would no longer cover the earth,
So have I sworn
That I would not be angry with you, nor rebuke you.
For the mountains shall depart
And the hills be removed,
But My kindness shall not depart from you,
Nor shall My covenant of peace be removed,”
Says the LORD, who has mercy on you.

There is never any reason that we should lose our peace with God. According to His Word, He has established His covenant of peace with us that shall never be removed for any reason.

Your brother in Christ,
John

You are in the Spirit

cloudsRomans 8:8-9  So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.  But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His.

How often and how many times have we heard about all the things we must do to “be in” or “get in” the Spirit. We are told we must pray and pray to breakthrough into the Spirit. We are told we must praise and worship harder to get in the Spirit. We are told we must crucify the flesh to be in the Spirit. The list goes on and on.

However, let’s look at what the Word of God says about being in the Spirit. It is amazing how the wisdom of man complicates the Word of God. The wisdom of God is so simple for us; He declares in His Word that since the Holy Spirit dwells in us; we are in the Spirit. How long are we in the Spirit? Forever!

So start today, believe the Word of God when it tells you that you are in the Holy Spirit now. Say today, “I declare that I am in the Spirit now and forever because the Holy Spirit dwells in me.”

Your brother in Christ,

John

Hold fast..

Heb 3:14 For we have become partakers of Christ if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast to the end..

The Father’s desire is that we share in all that Jesus has inherited for us, that we receive into our lives all the grace, peace and joy that Jesus earned for us. His desire is that we partake of all Jesus did for us by His death, burial and resurrection from the dead.

We partake by holding fast our confidence in the Word of God to the end. Confidence is being firm, steadfast, assured, fully persuaded that what God has said in His Word; He is surely able to perform it.

So hold fast to your confession until the end.

Grace is not Works

Rom 4:4 Now to him who works, the wages are not counted as grace but as debt.
One cannot earn what has been gifted or inherited. If one tries to earn it, it is not a gift or an inheritance. Grace cannot be earned. Eph 2:8 tells us For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God. Salvation cannot be earned by anything we do.
If one attempts to earn salvation or any part of it, grace is no longer in operation. All the benefits of salvation are by grace through faith. So rest from the hard work of earning or deserving all the things the Father has freely given.
